me

I am Manju Jisto, a food photographer with international acclaim. Currently based in Dubai, I have 5+ years of experience as a food photographer. As a self taught photographer and food enthusiast, making food for the family and documenting them in the form of still photos is something I am passionate about. Using my passion as my motivation, I began submitting my photographs for the prestigious Pink Lady food photo awards competition which resulted in a commended position in 2019 for the “ The Philip Harben Award for Food in Action” category, a highly commended finalist position in 2021 for the “Food Influencers” category, and another highly commended finalist position in 2022 for the “Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers” category. This all led up to the point at which I managed to win first place in the “Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year” regional award (Gulf) in 2022. This was the greatest achievement I could receive, being a self taught photographer.

My work ranges from dark and moody images to clean, bright, and minimal image along with quite a few macro shots that bring out the otherwise overlooked beauty in details.
